We’re now offering a unique and flexible approach to learning the art of upholstery. Bring your own project and learn at your own pace. You can purchase as many or as few hours as you would like and either attend sessions as part of a group or book in for private 1 to 1 tuition. It’s totally flexible and designed to work around you!

So how does it work?

First choose if you’d like to learn as part of a group or privately on a 1 to 1 basis.

Then, adjust the quantity to the amount of hours you’d like to purchase. You can always add more at a later date if you’re not sure how many you’ll need. You don’t need to use your hours all at once either, you could book in for a 3 hour block or spread them out over multiple sessions. Total flexibility to allow you to learn as quickly or as slowly as you’d prefer.

I’ve purchased my hours, how do I book?

After your purchase please email or call 0330 133 1799 to book in your sessions. Sessions are always every other Sunday from 2:30pm and every other Wednesday from 5:00pm

Places are limited and booking is essential before you attend a session. You cannot drop in without prior arrangement as we may have something else arranged at that time or we may not be available.

Will I need to bring anything?

Yes, you’ll need to bring a project to work on. This can be anything from a footstool to a wingback armchair. Nothing larger than an armchair will be permitted due to space restrictions. It should go without saying but please don’t bring in your 3 piece suite!

You’ll also need your own upholstery weight fabric. We’re here to help so we can advise you on suitable fabrics and the amount you’re likely to need well in advance of the session.

We can get fabric for you but this will need to be arranged in advance and will incur a small charge to cover the cost of the material.

Will I need my own tools?

No, the use of all tools is included in the price. This also includes all basic sundries such as thread, staples, tacks etc.
