How much is your UK shipping?
We now have revised shipping tariffs that have been simplified in order for customers to understand how much shipping will cost before reaching the check out page. Our 100% transparent and easy to understand policy will have each product fall into one of the categories below. We aim to have the delivery cost and expected delivery times clearly displayed on each products description so our customers know exactly how much and how long each item will be.
Most small lightweight items such as most ornaments

Extra Large Delivery

Please note these charges are significantly less than the shipping costs incurred by us and are just a small contribution to the overall cost.
We use different delivery partners depending on the item(s) that are being shipped. Smaller items are shipped using a local courier to reduce delivery cost and this saving is passed onto our customers via the new lightweight delivery tariff of just £2.95.
All items are checked for damage prior to dispatch and are packed using durable materials designed to withstand the rigour of international shipping. Sometimes we add additional packing materials to the boxes to help reduce damages. In the unlikely event that your item should arrive damaged, please contact us immediately so we can advise on the next course of action. You can see more information in our refund policy.
In an attempt to reduce costs, keep prices as low as possible and reduce waste we do not use our own branded packaging. All of the packaging we use is recycled at least once and we pack items as we think necessary to reduce damages in transit.
From time to time we will have a promotion offering free delivery. When free delivery or free UK delivery is specified it covers the UK Mainland Only. This does not include Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland where standard rates will apply. Free Delivery is always at our discretion and we reserve the right to refuse Free Delivery or change a Free Delivery promotion at any time.
Who delivers my furniture?
We use different delivery partners according to the size, weight and type of item. For smaller items we use a courier who will deliver to your door. Sometimes we use a one or two person delivery team. On very rare occasions large and heavy items will need to be sent palletised but you will be made aware of this in advance and if there is a problem receiving your item palletised prior to dispatch, you’ll be entitled to a refund.
Can I track my delivery?
Depending on the delivery partner used, you may receive a tracking number after dispatch that you can use to track the status of your delivery.
Do I need to be in to accept my delivery?
Yes, you need to be in to accept delivery of your furniture. Our delivery partners expect the package to be signed for by an adult and for some larger items they will want to place the item in a room of your choice.
I missed my delivery, what happens now?
If you have received a card from the delivery provider notifying you of a missed delivery, please follow their instructions on the card for how to rearrange your delivery. If you have missed your delivery and have been left no information by the delivery provider then please contact us to reschedule your delivery. Please make sure that you are confident that you will be home and contact us immediately if you know you need to make a change, as we may be able to alter your delivery slot.
Can I choose a delivery slot?
Depending on our delivery partner, you may be able to change your delivery slot after you have been notified of delivery and receive tracking information. Unfortunately we are unable to offer choice of delivery day at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to process all orders within 7 days of receiving them. Please note, some items including most larger items, are not kept in our warehouse and may require longer delivery times, allowance has been made for this on each products description page. Some heavier or larger items will need to be sent with a specialist furniture carrier or in some rare instances a palletised carrier. These services operate on a 10 working day collection from when we process the order and as such can have significantly longer delivery times. If you need your item urgently please contact us to see if it’s possible to fast track your order. In most instances this will incur an extra charge but we will make you aware of this at the time. We do not charge you more than it would cost us to fast track your order. There are sometimes lead times of up to 14 weeks for handmade to order items including customised sofas and armchairs. We will inform you when this is the case. It’s possible that from time to time delivery partners are late with deliveries and Auburn Fox Ltd are not liable for late deliveries because of third party carriers. Complaints about late deliveries should in the first instance be directed to the delivery carrier.
What happens if my item arrives damaged?
We take care to use the correct delivery method and packaging depending on the product in question. All items are inspected prior to dispatch. If your item has turned up damaged, please retain the packaging and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org including any images to support your claim. Do you deliver abroad?
Yes. Please contact us and we’d be happy to provide a quote to ship your item oversees. Not all items are eligible for international shipping.
