Unless otherwise stated, the sofas and armchairs Auburn Fox Limited offer for sale are handmade to order. It is important that you understand that by placing an order you are entering into a legally binding contract.
Once an order has been placed we will instruct the manufacturer to create your sofa/armchair. We are unable to accept cancellations or amendments after this time.
Our leather is completely natural, uncorrected, full grain, Italian aniline leather. The texture and shade of the leather colour can vary between batches as each hide will absorb the dyes differently.
If we deem the item faulty and cannot repair or replace the defective part, then we will arrange to collect the defective product from you at our expense. You will either be offered a replacement or a refund, we will discuss this with you at the time.
At the time of placing your order you will be advised approximately how long it will take to fulfil your order. This is an estimate only based on the information we have from the manufacturer at that time. Auburn Fox Limited are not responsible for delays in manufacturing, to deliveries or any other delay outside of our control.
If we’re made aware of any delay or if your order arrives earlier than expected we will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible.
We do not recommend you remove your old furniture until we have confirmed that your order is ready for delivery. In the event of a delay, we do not accept any liability for old furniture being removed prior to delivery being made. We are unable to remove your old furniture for you.
Once we’ve received your order at our distribution warehouse we will inform you and attempt to arrange a convenient date within 7-10 days. We’re unable to store orders for longer than 10 days after receiving them from the manufacturer. Deliveries within a 50 mile radius are usually completed by us. Deliveries outside of this are completed by one of our third party delivery partners. Auburn Fox Limited are not liable for any delay caused by a third party delivery service.
Our delivery partners operate Monday-Friday. They will call you to arrange a convenient time for you to accept delivery. We cannot offer a timed delivery service however you will receive a 3 hour time slot and the delivery driver will call you 1 hour prior to delivery being made.
Auburn Fox Limited are not responsible for any consequential loss incurred by you when taking a delivery. This includes loss of earnings, loss due to an alternative purchase, loss of annual leave, loss of time, inconvenience or any other loss incurred when taking delivery of your order.
Deliveries will be made to a room of your choice on the ground floor only. If you reside in an apartment or flat then there must be a lift in the building to facilitate delivery. If you require delivery to another floor which will involve the use of a staircase you must inform us at the time of placing the order, there may be an additional charge if this is the case.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your new furniture will fit into its intended room. Auburn Fox Limited are not liable for any loss incurred if alterations are needed to your property to allow access for delivery. Please inform us if there are any restrictions at your property including parking restrictions. Please ensure that on the day of delivery there is easy access for us to deliver your order.
We will return your order to our distribution warehouse if there are access problems at the delivery address; there is no one over the age of 18 to take delivery; the product doesn’t fit in the intended room; if providing delivery is unsafe or unlawful. You will have to pay a redelivery charge if redelivery of your order is needed for any of the reasons stated above.
